An interesting night
It was an interesting night at the Casa de Buzzard tonight. About 2030 hrs I heard a knock at my door answered it and had to black guys standing there, they had the wrong door, they wanted my neighbor who had recently moved in. No problem. 20 minutes later I hear all hell breaking loose, yelling, cursing and some assault\battery going on. My wife and I not feeling very happy about the commotion, and worried for our neighbor call 911. 60 minutes later the cops arrive. The two guys are long gone, and they arrest our neighbor for an outstanding warrant. guess the problem is ended. Still I worry about possible retribution from whomever may have known we called. I am making preparations for the worst, and hoping nothing happens.

Teaching her to shoot is a good idea. You might also consider moving. 0 -
"You might also consider moving."
Good idea. You have a little too much "diversity" in your neighborhood.
By the way, were you packing when you answered the door at 10:30 pm?0 -

Next time tell the dispatcher you think a cop is in trouble and being assaulted. Sixty minutes is too long. Is the fire department that far away too?0 -

Like Ron White says,
"There should be two levels of preparedness, 1. Get a damn helmet.
2. Put the damn helmet on."
I would have had the helmet on when I answered the door.0 -

Yep, fear is one heck of a motivator![:0][:0]
I have been shocked at the reaction of a couple of my liberal friends when they had the heck scared out of them in South Florida years ago due to home invasions. They both bought pistols and went to a police traing course. The hated guns prior to the event.[:0][:0][^]0
