C&R just came today
I know, I know, my bank account is about to be emptied. But I will have some control over myself at the moment because my money must be spent on other things, but I am looking for an SKS to start. I made my copies, and am prepared to send them to various places. Does anyone know if CMP will accept a C&R copy instead of being a member of a club? I looked at the list and I do not belong to any of the clubs they listed, so I cannot get anything from them. Just wondering if the C&R could count for anything with them, aside from being able to have guns sent to me.

...Nope. CMP requires you to "join". No big deal, find one (club) in your area and do it all by mail. CMP will except your CCW to fill their proficiency requirment though...congrats!...[;)]

Just got my packet of books and such today from them too. Thought they would send me a bound book as well to start. Guess I will have to make my own, but no problem, I found sample pages online somewhere, so I can work with that. I have heard you can get an ammo discount from some places with a C&R. Anyone know which sites offer one and how much it is? 0
