Mossberg 100 ATR

any one have one of these Im thinking of getting one for my kids and wanted some input.

A friend of ours bought one in 243 for his son to hunt with. Not the prettiest rifle, but the thing is amazingly accurate and cycles well. The bolt doesnt feel like it has a pound of sand in it (like the Remington 710 and 770s).

Not a bad rifle for under $300.

another option you might want to consider the stevens 200 made by savage for about the same price. i do not reccomend the 710 or 770 just my 2 cents.

Havent got a chance to look at one yet, heard mixed feelings. Any complaints mossberg took care of it right away. they have a pretty decent customer service.
