I've only been posting for a short time on the forum and i made my last post today (10-22-07). my dad always told me there were smart a@@es in every crowd and i have found out that is very true here on this forum, don't get me wrong,i already know there are some sensible nice people on this forum also, i've tried to be on of the latter, but you smart a@@es can take a flying leap and kiss my a$$.

I used to work for Martin Brower who's primary thing is delivering to McDonalds and thier burgers are 100% beef just as advertised! It meets USDA standards or else they would not be able to sell it in the US!
I'll admit it may not be as high of quality as it could be! But there is nothing like the pestisides that you claim to be in the meat!

That is the only standard that any meat in this country has to meet! And if you think McDonalds is the only place that serves crappy meat you are sadly misstaken! Just about all the fast food joints serve about the same quality stuff!
I still say that you do not know what you are talking about and that you only posted something you recieved in an email! You have no personal knowladge about this subject in anyway!

McDonald's has announced that they are going to start importing much of their beef from South America. The problem is that South Americans aren't under the same regulations as American beef producers, and the regulations they have are loosely controlled.
They can spray numerous pesticides on their pastures that have been banned here at home because of residues found in the beef. They can also use various hormones and growth regulators that we can't.
The American public needs to be aware of this problem and that they may be putting themselves at risk from now on by eating at good old McDonald's.
American ranchers raise the highest quality beef in the world and this is what Americans deserve to eat, not beef from countries where quality is loosely controlled. Therefore, I am proposing a boycott of McDonald's until they see the light
