uncodumented migrants
Being a recent immigrant (just about 11 years here), this crap to say the least p--ses me off. Even more so, some of my friends are defending the whole thing with an argument that we're all immigrants, yada, yada. We don't here much about people saying anything against it in the media (duh), the only few places i see any kind of outrage is radio talk shows. I understand that all I'd do is just reiterate the same thing over and over, but wanted to ask what kind of, and if there's, a solution could be there to this whole "undocumented workers" problem, which obviously is a problem?
my take on is to limit even legal immigration, which has been out of control, especially here, in silicon valley. i personally lost a couple of jobs to cheaper work-visa labor, not to mention countless construction contractors losing their bread and butter to 10-15 bucks an hour illegals.
Caption should be: you have an equal right to pack up and get the ---- outta here, bozo.

Stop the flood first, then remove the benefits,then arrest/fine the empoloyers.
There is more to this issue.
Ilegals undercut our wages,but so does nafta.
I pay $75 min for electricity,$75 min for water/sewer,$800/year for prop tax, + upkeep on a 1st world home, + car to work +insurance etc...
How can I compete with a guy That lives in a cardboard shack that pays no insurance ,taxes,union dues, etc...

and yet there's a lot more to it. as far as i am concerned it's a direct threat that started and existed for more than 30 years now. a threat on so many levels it won't fit to describe here.
what i don't understand is why is there even a discussion among politicians, it looks like people who elected them clearly stated their opinion on it, and still there's not a single rational proposal.
oh well, maybe some are right, that we do need instead of a steady slide just to tumble down the slope, maybe that will have people moved.0 -

They send over 210 BILLION dollars a year to their "homes"
They continue to refuse to assimilate, instead flaunting their poorly-spoken English ("Without Mexicans, America wouldn't be nothing!"), their third world culture ("cockfighting is as American as Flautas!"), their total lack of understanding of our law.

Very simple to explain why the politicians do nothing,.........they want to add 20 million voters to their base!
Fine the employers out of business, and then refuse them health care, and schooling for their children, and take away the "welfare",..........they will leave on their own.0 -

Just start interjecting that into your daily conversation. When someone brings up the topic of illegal immigration, you bring up the topic of undocumented pharmacists. You'll get a few "huhs" each time, but it will definitely strike home. 0 -

You want to do something about it? Start a movement to vote out ALL incumbents in the next 3 elections. No matter where or which party. Defeat the incumbent in the primary or in the general election. If they run un-opposed, write one in. If they aren't stopped, in 3 election cycles (6 years)they will never be stopped. This is the ONLY message that will get their attention. 0 -

Why dont these catagories get amnesty also and just forget about ALL laws, not just one law. Looks like amnesty should be spread out evenly,
