  Ooops, my bad. Was just going to try to explain it and it came back to me... It wasn't elec generation after all.[:I]
  
  It was a method of creating structures from salt water. They would make walls, or forms from construction mesh and run a low current through it. It in turn would gather salt from the ocean, making solid structures.
