Smith & Wesson M&P Rifles
Anyone have one of their ARs? Wife saw one this weekend while she was visiting her parents in Lubbock. Said they looked well made and the fit and finish was fairly nice. Always looking to add another AR to the safe.

Don't have one, but fired several hundred rounds out of one a few months ago. Functioned flawlessly and was very well put together. I was shooting with a S&W rep outside of Salt Lake City. Their guns, their ammo, my pleasure.[^][^][^] 0 -
Only way to shoot lt.
I have the M&P 40 pistol and absolutely love it. Seems to feed anything I put in the magazine0 -
Good rifles, but I believe they're made by Stag Arms. Don't know if I'd pay the premium for the S&W over the Stag. Oddly enough, they finished third and fourth out of four in a review I read recently, losing out to Bushmaster and DPMS, respectively. On the other hand, I think the complaint was trigger pull, and not reliability. However, I've looked at one and I do like them.
The M&P pistol on the other hand, is made by S&W, and boy is it nice. I recently got to try out the new .45 ACP version (non-manual safety), and I fell in love. I don't know if I would pick it over my Beretta, but it'd be close [:)]0
