I remember a christaian writer who said there were 88 reasons why God was coming back in 1988.
Maybe he converted to Islam after that profecy failed and now he is selling books to islamics titled "US will cease to exist in 2007"

a lot of religions or culutres have beliefs that something apocalyptic will happen sometime around what we know as 2000AD (give or take a few decades.)

Gee..I am disappointed. They are going to have Allah do what they cannot...

I will stand in judgement of their allah, if indeed I must....but they sure need to understand that they exist today only because we have leaders without the balls to do what is necessary.

I think this Silwadi guy got his wires crossed up, he's describing what may happen in Iraq/Iran in 2007, except the tsunami he describes could be from the forces of B2 bomber dropped nuclear blasts!

    try B-52,
it is said that when the last B-2 is taken to AMARC to be scrapped, a BUFF will pick the crew up and fly them back to their airbase [:D]

Now if Quintin Tarentino (sp?) or Oliver Stone will write a screenplay for this, we can get a really good movie out of it.

Religious nuts come in all denominations (and all damnations).

[8D]--Well, you know that our scientist predict that a HUGE, 50' plus tsunami will hit the east coast when there's a volcano landslide on some island in the Canary group--

--However, thats "just" the east coast major shoreline--

The only people that will die from this are those holding their breath in anticipation.
