(about losing that last job) I went to drink some beers with one of the Bosnians from work yesterday, he said he told the other guys at work that I got canned (they didn't know it yet) and they couldn't believe it, and why not the other lab techs instead??. he told the head maintenance guy, who just shook his head and said "there's something wrong with this place".
I asked the lady at the temp agency (my 'official' employer) if they have another job for me. she said depends on what the HR guy over there says about me, and he mentioned something about performance.
I went home and thought, they should be taking to my supervisor. what does the HR guy know. so I sent this email:

I would urge you to check with xxxx xxxx about my performance there. He was my direct supervisor, and I rarely had any contact with xxxx xxxx.

...and I got this reply.

xxxx is the final decision maker and xxxx's boss. He indicated due to deceased work and your performance they chose to end your contract. We will not be able to help you find employment moving forward and encourage you to contact other resources. I will be happy to send you helpful information on interviewing and the general job search process. There if no need to contact ADM on this matter as you were a xxxx employee.

so the HR guy said it was a performance issue, now the temp agency won't hire me again, and when I go to apply for whatever job somewhere else, they're going to check with the temp agency who will say "no, we won't hire him again".
my boss will tell the temp agency that I was doing an excellent job. he's told them several times before when they asked. but now they won't ask him.
and, you see, now that I'm gone and out of the picture, I don't have any say in the matter either. I got stabbed in the back.
I'm going to have a ball trying to find a job now.

Why don't you go to HR at ADM and apply for a job ??
