I drink, used to smoke, and have tried coke once. That's it. My sister is in prison for crack, and my brother threw away his life for drugs, after getting half way through school to become a doctor. So, no drugs for me, they'll ruin your life. 0 -

I "experimented" alot when I was much younger. When the Army came out with the THC test in (about) 1981, I quit everything except drinking. I am a very light drinker anymore, too. Easier on the wallet and this old body! 0 -

That may be true but my past drug use has been in the open for years. And I never did anything while I did do them that I need to worry about.
And truth be told I am glad that I had my time with them as I have a stronger base to be able to talk with my kids about it and hopefully keep them away from them. This is expecially true as it is drug use that is the reason that thier mother is over 3000miles away and has no part of their lives as she chose the drugs over even her kids.
So for me the positves of admitting my past use far out weight any negitives there might be.0 -

See enough people throw their lives away on crap over the nearly 30 years as a LEO. Amazing what some of them will take when they can't do their perfered brand. Ever see a subject that has injected RAID? I thought the jerk should have been dead but wasn't!
Personally, never tried any of the illegal substances, perfer my high life from a cold bottle of beer once in a while or from high atop of a mountain.

I cannot help but to wonder that the only people who think that past drug use has no effect on their mental condition are the ones who have used drugs in the past.
