  I grew up in Chicago, I remember "creature features"in the 70's and some goofy character called "Svenghoulie?" There was always some inside joke on his show about getting calls from Berwyn? And Karloff had a show called "Thriller"

  The old Inner Sanctum TV show from 1954. That creaking door opening at the beginning of the program really freaked me out as a kid.[:0]
