    the term e^(i*pi) is not a real, positive number because i is the square root of negative one (used by engineers), so any number to the power of i (and multiples thereof) are nonreal. addition to the rest of the expression makes it unreal as well.

    the check is worthless.

    I've always wondered about writing a check like that (that evaluates to a legitimate amount) I think I'm going to try it.
