    I'd think the faster the round is going, the better it would penetrate .

    The grenade travels at a fewf hundred miles per hour. When the shaped charge detonates, the jet formed by the detonation travels 16,000 miles per hour. Lobbing a round in at long range does not reduce the penetration. Striking at a VERY sharp angle MAY cause the round to be deflected. Being shot at at very close range gives you less time to respond, react, shoot back, etc.

    I thought I heard something about that too, although like said above, it shouldn't matter. but if that's what the dudes on the video say, ain't nothing like firsthand experience, so they probably know what they're talking about.
