    I don't think that'll happen.

if it anything, I think texas would be the first to go. and I'd be packing up my stuff and heading over in a hurry.

    Very possible.

Country one. East of the Mississippi

Country two. West of Mississippi except present day western Washington, western Oregon and California.

Country three. Western Washington, western Oregon and California.

hhmmm... for some reason, I don't think the mexi's in texas would be too keen on that idea, so if the folks in texas find themselves considering it, they'd conduct a vote of the population- the more mexi's, the less chance of that happening.

maybe that's why the gov't is so friendly towards illegals and slouching on border security.

somewhat of the same effect everywhere, really.

Wont happen. Although we rambos here on GB might relish a civil war, the population at large would not. They're content with their cable TV, fast food, and 9-5 jobs.

Not to mention that any state which attempts secession will be immediately overrun with national guard and perhaps even regular Army or Marines within 48 hours. You'd be fighting a dirty, lonely, guerilla war.

Good news is you are all correct. The bad news is...you are all correct.

Not to mention that any state which attempts secession will be ...why? I thought any state has the right to secession.
