Afganistan is back to bite us on the butt. Just bet that China/Russia is chuckling in glee...as weapons they made are shooting down Americans.

Russia is probably laughing their @$$ off right now.
China not so much so - they got what they wanted out of the Korean War, so why should they feel bitter? As is, I think China helped funnel American supplies to the mujahideen (sp?) during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.0 -
and when they first said something about it in the media, they still made them out to be a bunch of backwards, moronic zealots and implied they really didn't know what they are doing. the army took them seriously, I read how they altered their operations to be more survivable. yet here is another one shot down. never underestimate your enemy. the army took them seriously, the press didn't. shows how foolish the media is. 0 -

Had the press said we were facing highly-skilled enemey warriors, wouldn't they have been accused of providing comfort to our enemies?
