I was asking my dad about his tattoos that looked like what I saw on that Sailor Jerry website (ppl that learned from him), he said that wasn't the guy (no surprise) but, he got them from your area. since you're into tattoos I wondered if you heard of these guys -the art looks like Sailor Jerry stuff- and if you know where to see more of their stuff. I can't find anything on the 'net, he got these in the mid-60's.

skull with wings, number "13", Southpaw Al in San Diego

skull with spider legs, lettered w/ name, Sailor Bob in San Diego

he has others, but not from around there.

  noooo, I didn't see them, they probably didn't come up in google because they dont' have anything to do with Southpaw Al or Sailor Bob! but thanx anyways.

  Skull with wings and 13 should be pretty easy to trace where they came from since most guys with those tats got them from the area they lived in.

  he got them in San Diego when he was there in the navy, but he lives in Nebraska. I know where he's at, I can go look at the tattoos if I want to. I'm trying to find the tattoo artists. or their shop, they're most likely retired by now.
