Get some Hydrogen Peroxide, take the cap and pour a little in the cap (takes very very little) tilt your head and dump it in your ear. Let it sit in there (you will hear it fizzing) then just tilt your head the other way to empty it out. Repeat if you feel its plugged up. Helps if you have someone to look in there and see. You will be amazed at the amount of crap that comes out of there. Don't do this very often though because, as a doctor told me, some of that wax belongs in there.

Think of how many of those you have ate over the years. Most of them were probably right after he licked his butt! [:)] Thats why I never allowed a animal in the house.

probbly 1/2 of 1% of his hair grows on his butt. and he didn't lick his butt anyway, he licked his weewee, which doesn't grow hair on it, and not once did I see him spit out hair after he licked himself. it didn't bother me. dog hair doesn't bother me. I'd lick him all over myself (except his butt) and it wouldn't bother me one bit.

and the guy that owns the laundromat really hated all that dog hair.

yep, I got a good close look, it's one of those smaller whiskers off his schnozz, about 1". definitely rottweiler. plus, this whole 'ear chirp' thing started about the time I got him, so that must be where it came from.

I have a chow lab mix and his hair is very course and if you walk barefoot you will get a hair stuck in your foot. I have pulled countless hairs out of my feet and the old ladys feet when we forget to slip on the footwear. The hair is like little needles and very strong. We have to vaccumm every day and wear slippers around the house. Our other dog is a german pointer and his hair is not course and we have no problems with it and he sheds very little but that damn chow lab sheds a lot more and we are constantly using a sheding rake on him to keep the hair down and vacuum him also.

Never, never stick anything in your ear. That's why God invented doctors.

Dunno about you, but every time I get a physical exam, the doctor checks my ears. I think a doctor would have seen it.

+1 I dont believe for one second that it would have lasted 10 years in an ear.

I can believe it, and also believe that much of the time many docs just
go through the motions.."pay the clerk on your way out".

the last time I had a doctor check me over was 1995 (when I was thinking about joining the army) and that was again the first time in years. I don't have the time or money for such things! I can't spend 100$ or whatever for a doctor to tell me I'm ok once a year, I only go to a doctor when I really have to.
