I found a rifle in a gun store with a tag on it that said, "Russian M91, $100."
In fact, it was a Finnish M24 "Lotta" worth $400.
I asked the guy, "Isn't this one of those Finnish rifles?"
He said, "No it is one of those old Mosin Nagants."

Bought a factory engraved colt 1903 (Made 1910 - shipped 1912) at the door of a gun show for $300. I know - I hate those "Whacha got in the box" guys, but I was one of them and it paid off. WM 0 -

My best deal was a Winchester 94, that came with a Smith & Wesson pistol, matching numbers. The serial numbers are WACA ..28. In an older blue book of gun values they did a whole page story on this gun and how rare it was. Only 100 made and only 22 ever sold. I believe that 25 were given to people like the president and such. The last I checked it was over $10,000 for the set. I bought them unfired in the original wooden presentation boxes for $350.00. The gentleman I bought them from was given them by one of our senators who's wife would not let him have any gun's in the house so he gave them to his friend. He then just sold them and had no idea what he had. That was my best deal. 0 -

Bought a Remington 788 left hand 308 Winchester new for $75.00. Very accurate rifle in a good caliber. Gunshop was in legal trouble for selling arms to Cuban freedom fighters and needed to raise funds fast. Best $75.00 I ever spent. Regards. 0 -

742 bushmaster 30-06 carbine 1968 model used.Bought it at a gun show with an old scope I think it has been on it since it was new.Shoots great it has brought home 4 bucks with 4 shots with the old scope.Only jams when you try to shoot army surplus ammo.No problems with factory ammo.Paid 200.00 Love the gun!!!!!!! 0 -
Marlin 39m Mountie, 100% for $135.oo about 15 years ago.
Husky H5000 that I bartered/traded/swapped for. Think I have about $75 in it.
Remington 760 Carbine in '06 for $225.oo that I got last fall. 100% condition and a 1972 manuf. date.
Sawed off 742 for $150 that I added a $75 Weaver Widefield 3x to. My main swamp gun.
And then of course all the guns that my Dad has handed down to me over the years.0
