    I looked at the Cabela's early bird specials and there wasn't anything I needed, so I'll be off to Cabela's at a reasonable time.

    I do not start my x-mas shopping until deer season in PA is over... I find that I get some great last min. sales from desperate stores.

    The local outlet mall is opening all their stores at 12:01 AM. Last year the cars were lined up for 2-3 miles trying to get off the interstate.

    Might just make a late night run over there just to see the fireworks :-)

    What is the big deal?....

    I have watched the sales, and for what the flyers are showing as "door opener specials" etc and Black Friday specials, a person can get all year long IF they watch the sales...there is no great price reduction tomorrow, and anyone that has worked in the retail market knows that...

    Most items listed are in very very limited quantity (like computers, tvs, etc---flyers is listing 5 or 10) so again what are you saving?...

    Spent 15 years of my life working the other side of the retail counter, getting there 1-2 hours BEFOFE the store opened. The LAST place I want to be the day after Thanksgiving (or Christmas, for that matter) is anywhere near a store...[}:)]

    I did the same....it is funny Triple time today eguals exactly two months wages compared to my 1970 paycheck....and will buy darn near as much!!!!
