Price check.

What is shot going for in your area. I was buying loaded ammo since the price of shot was so high I would save about $0.01/box by reloading. Local place has shot for $35 (down from $49). Is this good? Are prices falling more? I have a decent stash of ammo now but would like to get more if the price is right.

    A local dealer has a used NM Springfield M1A up for sale. I forgot to look at the SSN on the gun but the sites and BBL are marked NM. It comes with a 4th gen scope mount (which I know is a pos).

    Gun is in great shape. There is one small finger print looking ding just below the charging handle that looks like it is just in the finish. The stock is great looking wood.

    The dealer is asking $1400 OTD for it. I think it is a pretty decent deal but just double checking. I plan on selling the mount and replacing it with something like a Smith and scoping it. I have another M1A that is going to be my iron site M1A.

    Thats all the info I have and have not seen it and dont know the condition.
    This is the info the lady is giving me. I looked on the auction side and only see parts.

    Can anyone give me a ruff idea of price.
    Im sure its not in grade A with a box.

    I know what people are asking for is not always what they are actually going for. Prices on M1A can vary greatly and I don't know enough to know for sure what makes all of the differences.

    look up the specs. find out what it is that makes them different.

    a regular M1a doesn't have glass bedding.

    national match has a NM trigger, NM front sight, heavy barrel

    super match has a NM trigger (or better), NM front sights, heavy barrel and 2 lugs attaching the receiver to the stock instead of 1. and I don't know what else.

    a new SM goes for about 500-600$ more than a NM.
