i just recieved a phone call a few minutes ago about my friend. this morning about 6:00 am, he was taking his 11 year old son deer hunting. about 6:30 am he was shot. he took a round through his right side. it exited his left upper torso, just missing his son by inches, but covering the boy with his fathers blood. the shooter was only 30 yards away. the shooter tried to perform cpr but was useless. the father was not hunting and had no orange on. the shooter was arrested. that is all the info i have. my friend who called was really upset and i did not want to ask her any questions. i ask that you please send your prayers

Truly tragic. Prayers for you and the affected family.

One question though. HTH did the shooter not know what he was shooting at when he was only 30 yards away!!!!!?

At 6:30 am I assume it was still dark. This fool must have shot at the sound. [:(!]
