Cleaning (again) my little friend
...This little guy gets the hose job right after shooting. 2 5/8" (beer can) x 16" bore. I use steel cans that hold mushrooms or chopped chiles because they don't shred like aluminum. Three ounces of Pyrodex, and you just get a flash of the can before it goes out of sight.

...Fourth of July is just right around the corner too...now if you would just roll out some pizza dough with sauce before you shoot...[:p]

Quite some time ago someone was Blue Tic was shooting billiard balls from a cannon. 0 -
...I've had this guy for about 25 years. It's not tubing, it's a solid shaft bored with a boring bar. It's been "proofed" with some loads that sent the whole thing rolling end over end. 0 -
I was going to get something like that, but I found an ar50 first...... 0 -

...My late brother in law bored the barrel for me. It's gone through a couple different configurations over the years.
...taz...yea, I have to keep it far enough from the house, so stuff doesn't fall off the walls.
...A buddy has a mortar with the same bore, and another has a long barrel one that takes juice cans. We've knocked down two concrete slab silos with them. There's an old 8 mm film of the one, but nobody can find it. If it ever turns up, I'll put it on you-tube.0 -
COOL!Was the barrel solid, Or did it start out as something else? 0 -
Sure looks like fun. 0 -
Seen one that shot tin beer cans filled with concrete. I was just a young lad then.[:D]
Ya kinda got me thinkin' now. Wish my machinist friend was still somewhere he could do "government jobs".0
