probably is the oregon chipmunk. should i have to do it again, i'd give the little ones an old winchester 121 which has a feed ramp and is cocked by working the bolt or a lever breach loader. The chipmunk, cricket, and marlin do not have a feed ramp. when my two were little, they would get frustrated loading as the little fingers aren't coordinated enough on a 4 or 5 year old to put that little 22 in the little recessed chamber of a little bolt gun. they're also tough to cock for a child. cocking the hammer on a top break is hard for the kids too, especially when their hand or finger(s) get pinched while trying to cock the hammer. so i spoiled mine with a ruger 10-22 and a feather at-22................... 0 -
The Chipmunk works very good, except that it's a single shot.
I bought one a few years ago for my son. He quickly out grew it.
Now I use it to shoot Aguila Super Colibris (sp?).
Very quiet.0 -
