Ever notice how Hollywood and the drive-by media put third-worlders on a pedestal? How they extol the peaceful virtues and deeply spiritual/in-touch humanity that is sooooo lacking in the USA?

A couple in my church (she was born in India) go to India several times a year, and have several ministries there. They tell me that Hindu violence towards Christians has skyrocketed in recent years. Not to missionaries per se, but to Indian nationals who have converted to Christianity. Yes, it surprised me too. I thought you could poke a Hindu with a stick and he would say "excuse me." Guess not.0 -
Sad but true. I guess every religion has its fanatics. My beef is with the media/Hollywood protrayal as Third World=good, America=bad.
