Yep! No lie! 1 # and the powerball - $3.00! I plan on turning it in later this week. I think after taxes though I might only get $2.25. Maybe I can offset it against the $20 I spent to win the $3?

Usually a lottery retailer does not take taxes out unless the winnings are over $599. I used to cash tickets at work. One lady had $800 in winnings in $5 and $10 winners. She stood around drinking free coffee and I cashed them in as people bought stuff to put money in the till.0 -
