    Someone's "idea" to re-run 1970s commercials.

I've seen it once or twice this century also.

Yeah but now they have CGI'ed his face over someone elses...looks spooky. The scary thing about this is...how far is this technology and who else are they gonna reincarnate?

I'd vote for Thomas Jefferson. Then he can tell all the anti-gun retards and government idiots that, yes indeed, they most certainly did intend for private citizens to keep and bear arms.

I think a lot of companies realize that the successors to the various throne can't "carry their predecessors' jockstraps" when it comes to actually getting the buying public to recognize the brand, understand the features and benfits, have confidence in their products AND actually BUY the products.

Frank and Orville and the others came into our living rooms, made eye contact with us, looked like average everyday "joes" and actually asked us to buy their products based upon quality, value, etc. Tom Carvel was the first owner/pitchman to actually say "please" as in "please buy my ice cream" and "Thank you!" for listening to him.

I really enjoyed the re-run of the '70's Reddenbacher commercials. It gave me a nice nostalgic buzz. But the new, CGI attempts are just creepy. And not that well-done.

It's part of the fundamentalist Christian theory that once we see what reincarnation is all about, we'll convert to Christianity. LOL

it's like Homer Simpson Said to Alec Baldwin:

"when you're dead, you'll be dancing with vacuum cleaner's in TV ads"
