so has anyone heard this story....a man comes home early from work or something and sees his wife having sex with some man. The wife panics, screams out she is being raped and the husband shoots and kills the man. However, as it turns out the women had been having an affair with this man for months and she didnt want to get caught so she, on a whim, said she was being raped. The husband isnt going to be charged with a crime but the wife is being charged with manslaughter.
On a side note...very close to my house two weeks ago an 11 yr old girl claimed she was kidnapped at knife point on her way to school and sexually assaulted. The whole neighboorhood was in a panic. My wife and I drove our kids to school, walked them to class and picked them up early. The 11 yr old girl gave a very detailed description of the attacker, his car and so forth. The whole police department was working the case. Several men were detained and forced to give DNA samples. As it turns out, the girl was late for class and didnt want to get in trouble. She made the whole story up. This kind of stuff happens WAY to often....

the story about the woman crying rape and the little girl saying she was kidnapped is in fact a common occurance -- but your wife and kids? -- that's a new one -- you must have been 9 years old when your kids were born -- i thought you stated in a previous thread that you graduated high school in 2004? -- not to pick on you -- but something seems a little fishy

You've got two instances, one you're claiming as personal and one you "heard" about through the grapevine, and you've arrived at the conclusion that this sort of stuff happens WAY too often? [xx(]

This is as bad as the gun-grabbers who like to pass laws because they've heard stories about how _______ gun was used to indiscriminately kill police officers in the line of duty. Never mind that there's no evidence to support it, but they heard it, and therefore it is happening way too often.

Both stories were carried on major news outlets. The husband story is being talked about on MSNBC and girl kidnapped story was reported on every LA and OC news outlet. According to DOJ stats, 30% of sxual assualt allegations are complete fabrications. Some people think they are higher. Lets forget about Duke....
