Got to a truck wash (18 wheeler type). They have a mild acid they can use on them to clean them real good.

But if you have them shiney now they will not be when they are done.

AluminaBrite you can find it a most NAPA stores. Cleans almost too good. The aluminum will look almost white when you are through but if you use a little polish it will bring anything back to new.

Yep, the stuff is called "Big Z". Buy it by the gallon around here. You might also try some aluminum wheel cleaner from an auto parts store, I cleaned a carbuator with some a while back and it did all right.

Thats the stuff! I could not remember the name of it.

It gives the Aluminum that whiteish look.

When I drove truck I always had my wheels and tanks hit with it before I polished them.

After polishing I would have to tell the truck washes to make sure they kept the stuff off my wheel and tanks because it would take all my hard work away in a split second!

But the aluminum will never get cleaner that what that stuff will do!
