Hey Dan - How are things with you today? Your "Who Hates Life" posting yesterday got me a little concerned. I hope things are looking brighter today. That light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train coming, so hang in there buddy. Life sure has it's ups and downs. Hope you start having more "ups." [^]

    I did not want to mess up someone elses thread but I wanted to ask you a question.

    How come motorcycles can have extremely loud pipes and are apparently legal, but if a truck or car has no muffler or is real loud they get a ticket?

    I could care less either way but it was something I have wondered about for a long time.

    I just got an e-mail from Catpealer (Dan) and he wanted me to pass on what he's been up to since he's been on a hiatus from GB.

    He's still having back issues and the docs finally decided to do an MRI. He has a bulged L5 disc and calcified L3 and L4 and will probably have to have surgery at some point.

    He's attending ALS (Airman Leadership School) and will graduate towards the end of April and should be promoted to SSgt in May.

    He's going to be preoccupied with some specialty training for the next couple of weeks, and probably won't be able to post at all. Thanks for the concern, but don't worry about him. He's fine.

    Is this the specialty training he need's for his new flying status? I know a guy that went thru that earlier this year and enjoyed it.
