ak mag fix?
can you buy parts to fix ak mags? I'm talking about the "clips" on the front and rear top of mag that holds it in the receiver.

I'm no expert, but I think all the parts you can buy for AK mags are floor plates, followers, and springs. 0 -
as far as I know, they're welded on, so spare parts don't come loose and find their way onto the gun counter.
if you want to fix it, you could weld on new metal and reshape it the way it's supposed to be. obviously it would be cheaper to just buy a new one.0 -
The armours kit has a tool that bends dented mags out. There is also spare parts; follower, spring and floor plate. Some people have modified the magazine catch to fit the mags. Some mags have been modified to fit a different model AK such as the 5.45 mags to fit the .223 AKs. Metal was taken off not added. Metal could be added but it seems it would not be worth the trouble and/or worth having. 0 -
AK mags are cheap enough, you're better off buying new ones. 0
