i bet he goes to jail. you have a federal prosecutor who wants a promotion. you have animal rights groups who will push the issue non stop with videos and pictures of horrific dead and mauled animals. you have a public who generally is sick and tired of multimillionare athletes who are thugs and low lifes.
he is apparently facing up to 6 years in jail. i say he will be convicted and serve at least 6-8 months.

    1911a1,

To play the race card, one has to be human first, in my opinion.

    This scumbag needs to hang.

i was listening to it on the radio, said tey found 7 dead dogs in his backyard, one had ben shot, the other had been slammed on the ground repeatedly, one had been starved, cant remember the rest. Also said he had a treadmill made for running dogs on them and a rape stand, for making dogs mate.

I think hes gonna see some time. They are going to have to make an example of him because of the extreme way they killed the dogs.

he should definately have a trial, and definately be found guilty, and definately serve time, and definately be fired.

This is a local story as his house is near here. They showed Michael Vick on camera saying "The world loves Michael Vick and will still love Michael Vick when this bs is over".

    What a typically arrogant A** H*** [:(!]

You can like him or not (I don't, for what it's worth), but he IS innocent until proven guilty. Or at least he is supposed to be. But I'm betting he won't walk over this, if the Feds aren't just grand-standing. But they wouldn't do that! This is America! [}:)]

Sort of like the court of public opinion promulgated by Fox news?

Kinda like the court of public opinion that spews off about banning guns?

I know you are funnin' but Vick was accused and crucified in the court of public opinion for carrying "drugs" in his water bottle while boarding a commercial flight. Wow, then it turns out they weren't drugs and he was innocent.

Now, the "feds" come in, get a couple of no name co-defendants and start building a case that will be, I assure you, based at least in part, on them turning on Vick.

We just love to chop down the tall tree in this country...

C'mon guys, the Constitution of the US is not meant to be applied only when it fits your "opinions."

CARTOD, you are still my hero!!

That is for the courts , not me.
you are allowed to have opinion if you think he is guilty.

if you see a guy robbing a bank, you know he is a bank robber before the capture and successful trial.
Yeah, and OJ is innocent also

Maybe things will work out for the best and the Falcons will get a decent QB.

I agree about "pre-judgement",........give it time for all the facts to come out. If it is as it appears, hopefully someone will bring charges, and then justice will prevail.
Personally though,.......I am not going to say that I DON'T think the guy is "scum".
He has the "gangsta" mentality, and is apparently a very brutal person. I only wonder if he would be as brave with something that could defend itself, i.e., a human being,......not a half dead dog.
    SCUMBAG GANGSTA!

News Flash! OJ is innocent! See what I mean about the 7th amendment crusaders here?

So you are saying because you witness something the accused should not have a right to jury trial?

What one "sees" is not always what one "sees." Those guards "saw" weed in Vick's water bottle.

You are free to have your opinion, just as the gun grabbers are.

I am no ones hero. Except my dogs. But like it or not, Vick is being tried in the court of Fox News. Public figures should realize they will be scrutinized more, and thus distance themselves from potential trouble. He sold that house (where the fights were)for a substantial loss. Looks like he knew what was going on. To what extent, I guess we need to be patient and see. I wouldnt want to be him right now. Plus, its a slow news day.

    +1

Just never cared for the guy or his attitude. Sorry if that goes against #7. Maybe they'll call me for jury duty and then I can have an opinion?

I meant there is a difference bw your status according to the US govt and my personal opinion. That is not a violation of his rights. Just like the right of his sponsers and employer to can him if he causes bad press

of course he has the right to trial and might get off, I am not talking about that.
I also have the right to notice his pattern of behavior and think that he is involved with all this crap that is going on at his house, as do the cops, or noone would ever be a accused criminal

oj was found innocent, that does not mean I think he is a good husband!
and I would not hang out with Ray lewis or let Vick dog sit for me.
    I bet you wouldnt either

I will opine and say that he will probably be convicted and serve a sentence similar to what Jamal Lewis had to do. He won't miss a game.

The boundary between what morally is the distinction between human and animal shrinks steadily.

Add this latest mess to the NFL's troubles image. I gave up watching football when players started getting away with murder.

I think he's more than likely involved, but I'm going to wait and see if it's true. If it's not, he deserves to keep his job. If so, he desrves to be unemployed.
