Does GB have any influence in Washington?
Meaning do they have any lobbyists or have any way of sending messages to our elected officails on behalf of its members? If not what would it take to get something like that, if nothing else but an online petition that the members of these forums could sign? That way, instead of us just talking about it here, we could do something that might benefit the gun toting public in Washington Just a thought.

I was using that as a suggestion. Is there any thing we as a group could do other than contact our own reps. or senators.0 -
No, but we do have Regime in the making. Better conform now before its too late. 0 -
We should send this man

Individually, you need to write letters to the editor of your local newspapers, discuss upcoming legislation with friends and family and make them aware of the impact of this legislation, if it were to become law. Host a progun coffee to discuss legislation. Post banners in high traffic areas to bring peoples attention to upcoming events. And of course write your legislators.
Never discuss politics when drunk. Never swear or stoop to name calling when trying to get a point across. Have facts to back up what you are trying to prove.0 -
Are you talking DC or WA state? It's not like our gun laws are restrictive here in WA. We have our shall issue carry permits, can apply for silencers or suppressors, and can have "assault weapons". 0 -
yeah, if we all show up and bring 3 friends each 0 -

I've been here over a year and I don't know about GB, but I have pretty much figured out that some of the members here think they are the most powerful entities in the world.[:D][:D][:D] 0 -

Procedural democracy: The process whereby citizens confer legitimately with public officals. Procedural democracy stresses the importance of the mechanics for popular government, in particular in the electoral system.
Procedural due process! The aspect of the due process that refers to the fairness with which laws are enforced.0 -

You can buy class III items, but you cannot use them within the state. Your state only honors one other state's CCW...I think (Utah). It's not as bad as many states, but nowhere near the best for gun laws.0 -
Member zipperzap is THE gunbroker presence in Washington, and this between advising the Pentagon on a suitable replacement for the M16 and the reintroduction of the A10 Warthog with photon torpedos and an articulated bucket seat. He remains THE congressional powerhouse on all issues gun, with influence reaching from San Diego to Costa Rica, to the extent of being unanimously chosen by both GOA and the NRA as the one most wanted to pose naked on a rubber sheet with Gary Coleman. zip's credentials further include using his johnson to test the tensile strength of the rope used to hang Saddam Hussein and being asked by Laura Bush to suggest the wines for all White House dinners. 0 -
