Sounds like you're becoming the BionicMan ... pretty soon you'll be able to rejoin the force as RoboCop![:D][:D][:D]

I have had that done in the right eye and it has not been fun for over a year now. I have a tiny stitch that will not disolve so I have to go back and have that removed.

You may not miss a target again, but while you are shooting you are still going to be wearing glasses, safety glasses.Go the gov lens route and at least wear a pair of glasses you pick out. Most safety glasses are uncomfortable to wear.

    Welcome pops![:p]
With your track record and credentials, do or say whatever the hell you want. It's okay with me.[;)]

I note your Masters in Theology. Don't worry about me slamming religion, I slam them all as desires of weak minds.

Ed, I used to live in Hyde Park many moons ago! Belonged to VFW-170 on Violet Ave, and the Am. Legion near the old state hospital. Are they still there?

My eyes are corrected to 20/15, but that has not improved my shooting. Good Luck!

Had my right eye done a few months ago. New lens has built in UV protection, even has a serial number..A real bionic man. I do still require reading glasses.

He just needs to get the right kind of safety glasses. Check out Wiley-X. They make awesome lenses, all of which are ANSI Z-81 certified, and some of them are ballistic lenses. The lenses in the Wiley-X SG-1 glasses are tested to survive a 12 ga shot at 10 feet. Your eyes will survive, but the rest of your face will be toast.
