Things (in auctions)That Wear Your A** OUT!??
...Many different things but I just left some auction sites and this is fresh on my little mind.
...WTH is wrong with some of these people?
Some things in auction descriptions I DON'T GET!!...or like when I read them [:D]
A) "There is only a dab of red fingernail polish on the front sight, it should clean off". If it "should", then why don't YOU you clean it BEFORE you put it up?
"The spot you see on the slide is just a finger print". #@!*# then WIPE it off!
C) " The bore is great, just needs to be cleaned". Then get off your lazy butt and CLEAN it already!
D) " All original except for..." #@^# It CAN'T be ALL original if "except" is in the same sentance!!

That or a small mark here or there. Scroll through the photos, and it is a gash an eighth of an inch deep. Small mark? 0 -
I know this is acceptable by many people, but:
"In excellent condition for its age". To me, it is either in excellent (or whatever) condition or it isn't.0 -

let me shine some light on a few. say for instance you have a camera that only works with an extension cord and you just got finished snapping some pics outside. you cant see the screen on that little camera so you must go into the house and up 2 flights of stairs to download it on the tower. as you are, its begins raining, so you run downstairs and bring everything in and it doesnt stop for 18 hours. but hey! you got the pics and the sun was out! whew! ooopps. wait a minute! geesh. theres a fingerprint. rats. ehhh....all gun owners know how easy it can be done, so hey...theyll understand. besides, its the gun they want, its not a website where you try to find waldo's errors in photography.
and ya know...some people like red paint on sights, so i'll just leave it there and if they ask me to take it off, i will WHEN HE WINS IT. because if no one wins it, i'll need that red paint on the sight for next hunting season!
rule of thumb...the world doesnt revolve around you. and if you want it bad enough, youll deal with the paint.[;)]
this is an auction house. its not a retail store where perfection is part of the sale. these are used items...like tag sale stuff in someones front yard. take it or leave it.0 -
What about this item is a "Penny Auction" then they have a "RESERVE". This shouldn't be aloud, i mean at least tell me what you want, whats the point people if you put a reserve on a penny auction????? 0 -
