    Locust,

Lets just hope the fact that Ma Ma owns a gun store keeps the bad boys away![:D][^][;)]

Teenage girls are very complicated creatures. Much tougher to raise than boys, but worth the effort.

I can only tell you how to corrupt them.

When I was that age they would get me in trouble. I, of course, was more often than not, willing to take the entire rap.

I remember telling my daughter when she was that age that some day she would pay for all the headaches she caused. NOW she has one that age (16). I informed her that she was now paying for her raising!!![:D]
Grandchildren are grand- you can spoil them and send them home.

Cartod...Oklahoma....very pretty girls! I was with my son the other day getting shoes (he goes through shoes like I do paper towels....just plain destroys them) and there was an airbrush store in the mall. I stopped in and paid for a "special shirt" for my daughter. It should arrive in the mail any day now.....

My crazy mother sells guns for a living.....still think I'm hot?

A nice looking young lady and she reminds me a bit of my oldest daughter Christine. I managed (with the help of Mrs K) to raise the two girls from my wife's first marriage and all of us have some how survived, at least so far. Our oldest girl is very independent and could have rasied herself, while her younger sister Olivia needed more TLC. It also became clear at about age 14 that my wife and Christine were not going to see eye to eye on just about every subject under the sun so I often had to step in in order to get things headed in the right direction. Mothers and daughters are seldom on the same page, mostly because two women living in the same household leads to conflict over who is really in control. It is just their nature. Tough it out and keep saying that it will all work out fine.

Cute Girl LF...I dont know anything about raising kids,But I remember my dad saying to me after one of my twin sisters (or both)got in trouble....Son ,When you have a son ,You have one zipper to worry about. When you have a girl,You got every zipper in town to worry about.Im not suggesting you have that problem,The pic just reminded me of what my pops said.[:)]

I know about the zipper worries. I have tried to put "self respect" into every conversation we have.....and scare the crap out of all the boys that meet me. At first I didn't like the kids knowing about all of the guns in here.....but now I make them come see me in the "office." Standing there in the doorway....eyes rolling around at the various destructive devices....mouths wide open. That is when you say (in a definative tone)....SO...you are who will be responsible for her while you are out????? I don't care if its just a friend....they leave my house KNOWING I am not going to put up with any crap.
