Sort of like a Volkswagen with a Porsche engine
At least, that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this:

I can think of many appropriate firearms to engrave and gold plate. Sorry, but a Glock 33 just isn't one of them. [B)]

I honestly can't think of any, just not my thing I guess.

LOL. . .
Looks like one of those things that you do just to say you did it (or because you can).
I kind of like the frame engraving, though the gold slide is silly.
Edit:
By the way, its more like a Porche with a Volkswagen engine, if you ask me.0 -
Hi-Powers are a work of art to begin with. I've always wanted the plated and engraved one. What are they called?? Something like "Renaissance"??

Glock could probably add "engraving" with a little work on the frame molds. Ruger could as well. 0 -

As a matter of fact, Ferninand Porsche FOUNDED Volkswagen. And their later model buses and a few other models had porsche designed "pancake" engines in them. I had a 73 Transporter with one. [:D] Biggest piece of crap VW ever sent over here! Kinda like that pistol!0 -
It needs less scroll work, and more mean looking diamonds, teeth, and jagged edges.

You can put whip cream on a turd, but it's still just a turd.[:D] 0 -

Really? Not even this one?
This one made me drool on my keyboard. [:p] Granted, it's not a shooter (but it would look very nice in a display case). [^]
Honestly, no. That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen done to a perfectly good firearm.[:D] Only thing that could make that gun worse would be if someone put on a set of those silly $50,000 diamond and ruby grips, like the one we have here on the auction side for the 1911.
While I can certainly appreciate the art involved, a firearm, to me, will always remain a tool first, art second.
Even the 1911 in my sig line has it's first "use" marks on it now.[:(] I can only look at them for just so long, then they either get used or they go.[;)]

In many ways, I have to agree with you. A handgun has always been a "tool" for me first. I can't imagine being in law enforcement and carrying something as "gaudy" as the above images. My buddies would have laughed me right off the team. [:D][B)][:o)]
You'd have the pimps come looking for you instead of the other way around.[:D][:D]

[:D][:D]You owe me a new laptop! I had to wipe off the keyboard after spewing the contents of my mouth. [:D][:D]0 -

Especially if it had those silly $50,000 diamond and ruby grips. [:D][:D][:D]
No, then YOU would be the pimp.[:D][:D]
