Rant-CNN's coverage of bridge collapse
I've been watching CNN's coverage of the bridge collapse in Minnesota and it's wearing me out. I realize it's a tradegy and should not have happened but the media's coverage is way over-the-top. Yesterday they (CNN) actually were doing a story on corporate donations for relief supplies and food. They constantly play this emotion stirring music. They keep comparing it to Katrina and 9/11. As of right now they're looking at about 15-20 total fatalities. How many people are killed each day on our roads? I'm not trying to come across as cold hearted without sympathy for the victims but this is getting ridiculous. I'm going camping.

Actually they have. There were some in Congress blaming Bush because of lack of funding.0 -

Do what I do: don't watch tv. Spend your time watching movies, posting on GB and playing video games.0
