...i think not. From Alaska to Hawaii, to North Dakota to Florida. From California to Maine down to Alabama on through Iowa clear to the Carolinas. There is no country more beautiful on earth than these United States of America.

Because America is large it has great scenic diversity. So does China. Australia has beauty but is less diverse. Europe as a whole might be a good second, with some great scenic beauty in England, Greece, South France and the Alps. 0 -
Having actually traveled to a number of beautiful places outside the US, I would say that individually, there are prettier places. The most beautiful mountain in the world is in Japan, the most beautiful city in the world is a toss up between Indonesia and France, etc,.
However when taken as a whole for a country, the US encompasses glacias, the mountains, the landscape of Arizona, the Mississippi River, Niagra Falls, Chesepeake Bay, the Hawaiian Island paradise, the Redwoods, the sandy white Gulf beaches, the wonderful town of Fredericksburg, Texas, and last but not least, the grandest canyon in the world, yes, the United States is the most beautiful country in the world. [;)]

u krazy. colorado is really supposed to be a "prairie desert" if it weren't for irrigation; utah/nevada/arizona is a desert, Phoenix would be completely desert if it werent' for wells dug into the underground aquifer; new mexico and western texas are desert/badlands, oklahoma/kansas/nebraska/ioway/south dakota are the blandest flat nowhere I ever did see, and eastern texas/louisiana/mississippii are just like that but a litle wavy, louisiana is a stinky bog, florida is a flat marsh,
the only decent things we got is the eastern and northwestern woodlands! the rest sucks!
r-a-r-e-l-y do you find a building more than 100 years old anywhere. go to europe, (I haven't been there) you will find cool stuff to look at all over the place like old buildings, bridges, roads built by the romans, blah blah blah and the terrain, climate plants and animals were all probably more interesting up to 1000 years ago when it started getting more populated.
probably the best parts of the CONUS I would guess are not too far off of about average parts of europe, plus they have a viariety of interesting ethinc groups, architecture and history behind it.

God knew what he was doing, there are places for everyone.
If I had the money, I would find me a cabin in the mountains
