4x4- which to buy, 04 Toyota or 06 Nissan?

Looking to replace my 04 Nissan Frontier 4x2 with something in 4x4.
Of the following 3 which would you buy?

04 Toyota Tacoma 4 door 4x4
06 Nissan Frontier 4 door 4x4
06 Nissan Xterra 4x4

All are priced around $18,900.

  of the 2.... I would go Toyota all the way!
  
  But if I wanted a real truck that can do anything I ask it to....
  then this is what I would get. I am getting around 19/23 lately. Do the right things and they dont drive like a "normal diesel".

  I don't do much in the way of towing. Wouldn't mind a diesel but they are really hard to find in that price range w/o 100k miles.
