Spider-Man 3 was kind of throw-away entertainment. Lots of flashy camera moves and CGI effects. I didn't find it that horrible, but it was no Spider-Man 2.

Don't plan on seeing Shrek 3.

28 Weeks Later: not as blatantly anti-military or gunphobic as the first, but still had a bunch of holes in the plot you could drive a truck through. Plus side: makes you think, "If that's all that's gonna happen if all hell breaks loose, I'd be set with one good rifle and one good pistol and one good non-panicking, non-retarded head on my shoulders."

what the difference between chinese commies and hollywood commies ? the difference is only a small percentage of chinese are communist and they are rapidly becoming non communist. at the same time, americans are rapidly becoming socialist and communist, espsecially in hollywood with all the castro loving commies (sean penn, micheal moore, kevin costner, danny glover, harry belafonti, and the list goes on...)

Spiderman 3 was a huge let down. Ghost rider was decent.

Shrek 3 was a major disappointment. I disagree that it was the first two movies rolled into one (even the jokes). This was just a story that had a ton of potential that was wasted.

We even hung out through the entire credits (oh about five minutes) because we were hoping there would be something funny at the end (a'la Shrek and Shrek 2) -- nope, they didn't even include that little treat.

This one is going to drop out of the theaters quickly.

Shrek (the first) still has some incredible memories for us -- it was the first date my wife and I went on.

Spiderman 3 sucked as much as SPiderman 2 and just a hair more than Spiderman, The Movie. As we drove home, I asked Mrs. Plaid "Why do we watch these movies? We hated the first two, but we went ahead to watch the third. Worst of all, we will probably do the same thin for the next Pirates movie."

Pirates...does the world need a third movie about a flaming, prancing pirate? NO!!!!

    Haven't been to a theater in about 12 years...and I don't feel the loss.

With pay-per-view, plus Nextflix, why bother?

By the time something hits PPV or DVD, you have a pretty good idea if it was decent or sucked.

I prefer older movies anyway, better storylines and actors, usually.

Exception, "A History of Violence". Pretty intense flick, but it kept you guessing for a while, and the acting was great. Worth in IMHO
