Recoil Buffer for AK

Does anyone use one, Are they good to have, Is it a gimmick or necessary. Welcoming all input Thanks linthicum

Don't have one, have never used one, however, for what I've read at AK forums ( www.ak47.net ), about the only thing that can make an AK jam is a recoil buffer.

much as polite psycho said, JAM O MATIC, I have seen and owned several Ak's that were fine shooters right up to the point the buffer went in. then they jammed more then an AR.[:D]

besides, you ( as well as most folks ) will never shoot enough rounds to destroy the surfaces the buffer protects. Just think about all those full auto's that have thousands, millions, billions of rounds without a buffer.

Of course the Ak's that I have, I built myself. They all have buffer's, and I have no jamming problem's whatsoever.[;)]
