Does this movie ever get good? Watched it for 20 minutes and that was about all I could take of Nick Cage's bad dialog. Is it somehow worth suffering through, or is the rest of the movie just as bad?

'70s sometime. It starred that guy from The Equalizer. I'm sure it was scary in its day, but it did little for me, though I can understand why it's revered as a classic of sorts of the horror genre. It actually made you think and had a good twist.0 -
the remake really sucked, from the relationship to his dreams to the end result, oh! wait a minute there was no relationship of anything, if you want to know what happens highlight the spoiler below he dies in a 50 foot man made of wicker by having his legs broke, and burned alive as the sacrifice, he was tricked into coming to the island, as part of the sacrifice must arrive on his own free will0 -
