Good birthday today!
Weather here has been perfect for over two weeks. Sun shining every day.
Since today is my birthday (69th) my neighbor and I (well she) decided to celebrate a little so we went to Sam's casino in Tunica MS, about 75 miles N of here. Had a great buffet for less than $20 for both of us. I ate lots more than I should have but what the heck, I had to get my ten bucks worth! Corky's BBQ was outstanding.
After chow we went to the slots. I splurged and went over my usual 20 bucks and invested 40 and got wiped out, as usual. However she was playing the quarter slot next to me and that damn thing went off and rang and rang! The usual crowd gathered round. When it finally stopped, she had won $440 bucks.
Since it was my B'day she picked up the whole tab except for my slot donation. All in all, a great day. Hope to have as much fun next year, if I'm still around. Tom
