Goldwater in '08

I voted for him in '64. I've never voted enthusiastically for a president since.

What about Ron Paul? I think you might like him. First one I've been able to vote "for". And I am so sick of voting "against" someone.

Politics is, always has been, and will always be, the lesser of two evils. Vote for the one you can stomach the most. Reality is tough so just puke latter.

I take it as a peice of real information that no one I would be happy to support and vote for would have so little self respect as to run for public office.

AUH2O 64 was my first Presidential vote & the easiest ever. In 68 I also voted FOR Wallace. Since then it has never been as easy to vote FOR someone. It's usually a vote AGAINST the other guy.

Voting against someone is exactly how the major candidates run their campaigns. It's typically 99% negative campaigning. They are basically saying, "Hey, vote for me! My oponent is worse!".
