Netflix users, Question??

I asked a question earlier this year on Netflix and plan to join but have a question and can't find an answer on the site or the net.


If I join the 3-at-a-time plan. Does that mean that 3 come and go at the same time? Or can I return 1 of the first three and keep two? I would like the 3 plan but don't want to hang on to movies I have already watched until I have watched them all to be able to send them in.


The way it is worded it seems that the three must stay together shipped and returned and can't be split up as you finish them.

    Nope, you can mail one, two, or three at a time. Mail them one and they will send you out one more.

    you turn them back as you watch them either way that suits you.

    They don't have to come and go at the same time.

    We have the two-at-a-time plan. We can only have two of their movies at one time(hence the name of the plan). Watch one on Friday night, send it back Saturday. Keep the other for as long as we want. Get the next one on Monday or Tuesday, send one back. We keep the rotation going.

    I think I will sign up for the free trial and see how I like it.

    Anyone know about multiple DVD sets.

    Specifically I want to get Penn and Teller's Bullshi* series but there are 3 DVD's per year. Is it considered 1 rental or 3?

    Each DVD is considered a rental. So it would be 3 rentals for the 3 disc set.

    Nexflix is great for those who love to watch their miniseries. We watch Lost, but then got bored after 1/2 way through the second year.

    A lot of friends of mine who are nexflix members take my advice about the Sitcoms that are out, and they get the season discs.

    I used to own over 1200 DVD's but found that after I watched the movie once I rarely ever watched it again. If I loaned it out, it came back destroyed if it came back at all. So when Blu-Ray and HD DVD were getting into swing I listed all my DVD's on ebay. Kind of thought that DVD's would go the way of the cassette after a while and wanted out when DVD's were still worth something. Sold in big lots instead of selling each seperate DVD. I didnt want to have to keep track of 1200 packages and payments. Now unless I really really like a movie, i'll just rent it.

    best answere to your questions is use the blockbuster service and get double the movies, half in the mail and half at the store and no late fees.

    oh that wasn't your questions- i know with block buster you can send 1 at a time. it just means you can only have 3 at a time

    Suggestion - make sure your NetFlix Queue is correct if you rent a series. If you (or Netflix) make a mistake they will come out of order.

    I live in the boonies. I don't know where you could even find a Blockbuster's within a couple hundred mile radius. Otherwise I think it is a better deal.

    I am surprised that no one mentioned pay per view. This is cheaper than renting if you don't watch a lot.

    If we ever stop buying, we will go the pay per view route. I like to be able to watch any movie, any time without the hassle of going to the store. That is worth the $12-$25 price tag of most DVDs.
