Is it legal to sell guns as a dropshipper???

I mean...is it legal to sell guns if you don't have them and then resell them???

    Actually, the way he explains it -- that he is essentially just a "listing agent" for an FFL -- is perfectly legal. The firearms would still be going from FFL to FFL.

    That said, I think it is completely impractical. The mark-up on firearms is already small enough; there is no room for another middle-man in the transaction. Those FFLs who can already handle their own auctions/internet listings, will be able to beat your prices every time; no one will buy from you.

    I also doubt that any FFL dealer would be willing to work with you unless you already have an established relationship with him. And I think any buyer would be a "fool" to send you money -- especially if it involves sending money out of the country -- then expect you to follow through with the rest of the transaction.

    do a search for auctions by "ton80". He's hard to miss. YOu have to sort through all of his cookie-cutter not-in-stock-but-ready-to-order auctions whenver you want to actually find something to bid on.

    I believe "ton80" is a FFL, he waits until he has a sale to place his order, that is not unusual, most shops will gladly order something for you. (take a look at davidsons gallery of guns).

    You are right. They have an actual storefront as well. I have been there. Most of his CZ auctions are as you described. As soon as he gets a bid, he orders the gun. He does have quite a few in stock though. Most of his other auctions are for stuff that he does have in stock. Last time I was there he had about 100 RRA AR-15s on the shelf in different configurations.

    Even though I said I thought it unlawful in on of the original threads, the more I think about it, I'm having a hard time seeing how U.S. law enforcement has any jurisdiction over citizens of the U.K. who buy or sell in cyberspace, so long as they operate in good faith and carry through on their contracts.

    It's still a really bad idea, though.
