in a deer's life will signs of antlers show up? to clarify I saw a fawn this morning and when I saw the top of it's head there were two black " dots " on it's head where antlers would grow but this is this year's deer spots and all about 25 pounds

When he is born. It starts with the two black swirls of hair on his forehead. This is where the pedicle is formed. These boney knobs (the pedicles) appear in 60-90 days from birth. These usually barely break through the hair and are often called button bucks in the fall. 0 -
