Darwin award candidates?
Two "good old boys" were out deer hunting and actually managed to shoot a buck. They each grabbed a hind leg and commenced to drag the deer back to their camp. While doing so, they met another hunter who remarked that it would be easier to pull the deer if they grasped the antlers and pulled from that end, since they would be pulling with the hair grain instead of against it. Soooo, the "boys" took the other hunter's advice and changed their grip. After about an hour, one guy says to the other, "You know, that old boy was right; it sure is easier to pull this animal this way". The other guy replied, "Yep, but we're sure getting a long way from the car"!

I like the one I read about a few years ago about the old boy who decided to take his electric sander, anchor it down in the cushions of his sofa, get nekkid and poke "Old Blue" in there between the cushions. I guess it worked all right, 'cept when the sander got wet it electrocuted the feller. RIP.0 -
