  I have never really looked at HD-DVD players but this one looks like it only outputs in 720p/1080i. Aren't the newer tv's all 1080p?? I know my tv is HD but is only 1080i. But if you have a 1080p tv, this can not take full advantage of the set, correct?

  If you read the discussion on this on the slickdeals web site, they talk about that very thing. Since mine will go in our theater, and I cannot afford a 1080p projector, it is perfect for me.
