    Good for both of you.

Are you already parents....or in the "working on it" stage?

We have 2 - 3 and 6 months. $1850 in daycare and all the free colds and disease that you and your kids can carry!

You will be better off, my wife and I made the decision about two years ago.

-You should multiply that daycare cost by three (maybe four) to account for the medical bills and the grief caused by the diseases those little rugrats carry and share with one another and then you two.

You'll might find that you're ahead financially for her to quit and stay at home.

Congratulations, Mrs. Slipgate!!! A toast to you both!

Good mom there. I have had two wifes and neither one worked out side the home. Wish my present one would get a job though. Kids all gone and I'm tired of hearing her bitch about having no one to talk to!

    I wouldn't consider that a "retirement".

It's a heck of a lot more work to be a stay at home mom than it is to have a regular job.

Anyway, congrats to the both of you and:

Congrats to the stay at home mom.
Now, she will not miss out, on watching the kids growing up, like SO MANY other moms do.

We got a "parting shot" from daycare - my 6 month old son appears to now have "first disease". This is a relatively minor ailment where it looks like someone slapped the effected on the cheeks.

This is the most disease laden daycare that I have ever had any experience with. He has had 6 colds, pinkeye and now first disease in the 4 months he has been going. The poor guy is only 6 months old!

BTW: The kids will be going there until the 2nd week of December to allow my wife to study for her final exams (she gets her Bachelor's degree this semester!).

I have an idea of why this daycare is so disease laden but I'll keep my thoughts to myself other than to say I don't think we are getting is from the (few) families that are paying full fare like us.
